Hanami Sushi in Morgan Hill

Good neighborhood Japanese restaurant. I like their tempura and also beef teriyaki. Menu is limited and service can be slow but I usually get takeout.

Excellent sushi and food. You can go to the boba place Utea next door afterwards too

I go to Hanami every time I'm going to be in the area. I plan it into my schedule. The Freshest Sashimi Every Time! In fact I'm going tomorrow scheduled or not. Check out the Tempura Calamari and order it with your meal. *****.

A great place to get a great meal. The fish is fresh and large pieces are delivered. While service is usually spot on, it can be frustrating during busy hours. Have made Hanami my go-to Sushi stop in Morgan Hill.

Fantastic, very fresh sushi served by a friendly staff. Their Lemon Crush roll and unaju are both delicious, but you can’t go wrong with anything you order.

We absolutely love this place!! We try to go about once a week. We adore Janet (owner) and Ashley is awesome (our fav server) even though all the girls there have been warm and welcoming. Such an awesome family friendly restaurant. They have easily become part of our extended family. Give it a try!

Consistent sushi, while there are not many good sushi restaurant in Morgan Hill, this is the only one I will go to, best MH had to offer

Great prices. The Saba is good. Yellowfin is fresh. Plenty of good rolls and nigiri options. I could not believe the great prices and thick cuts of fish. Service is good, the staff is friendly and responsive.

Good food, friendly staff. I would like to have seen a few more veggie options for the sushi, but they did have tempura, inari and natto.It's a super easy stop when coming up 101.

My husband and I recently moved to Morgan Hill and quickly fell in love with this restaurant. At Hanami, we are always greeted with a friendly smile; the service is superb! We love the sushi(especially the dragon roll). We have brought many friends and family members to this restaurant-all of them have loved it-and would recommend this wonderful, family-owned restaurant to everyone!

Our server did an amazing job handling a very large group for lunch, despite what our first impressions led us to expect. Regardless, the food was not good

The sushi here is 5/5. It's a cute restaurant. The staff is nice. This restaurant seems to have one waitress working during busy times which means that you drink refills are slow among other things. My family is a mix of sushi eaters and non-sushi eaters. They have options that those non-sushi lovers will like a lot.

Always a great meal from Hanami Sushi. They have Japanese classics prepared fresh to order. The whole family loves their combos. Very tasty.

This was our favorite sushi place, when we lived in Morgan Hill. The selection and quality was great. Which has apparently ruined our hopes of finding a good sushi place, after moving out of the Bay Area. The staff was also very friendly. When we mentioned that one of our little dudes REALLY liked tofu (like REALLY REALLY liked tofu), and wanted to know if he could have extra in his miso soup, she brought back a bowl that was like "Here's a bowl of tofu, with some soup in it."Honestly some of the best service we ever experienced at ANY restaurant, when living in the Bay Area.If I could pick this place up, at bring it to Chattanooga, I'd do it in a heartbeat!

We were on our way back from Carmel and picked this restaurant because of its convenient location, just next to 101. Service is good, however, the food quality is just average. Beef Teriyaki Hamachi Kama were over cooked. Raw fish was ok, no surprises, the regular varieties and offerings.

I love this place so much! It’s my family’s favorite restaurant. I’ve been coming here for as long as I can remember. Lunch isn’t too busy, and the have beautiful, authentic food. The staff is very nice, especially the owner. The bento box is delicious, and the sushi is high quality. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I can’t wait until next time.

Sushi was not good. I had the plain tuna, spicy tuna, and yellowtail and scallions roll. The yellowtail was ok, the tuna had zero flavor. The sushi was like it came from a bad Chinese buffet.

Very good service very nice people I just was not impressed with the food extremely simple and what I felt like was a limited sushi menu of dare I say tourist type items California roll based everything again extremely nice people don't wanna leave a bad review just really didn't like the food.

We're from out of the area and saw the positive reviews. We're really glad we tried it! The process we're a little higher than we're used to paying in Sacramento, but the quality was definitely there. One negative--I didn't like the tempura in the Debi reroll. Definitely not hand made. If that's indication of their tempura, I would revise my rating down substantially.

Very good food. Friendly staff, although they do get distracted sometimes. Had to ask for ice water several times, but overall an excellent experience!

Excellent restaurant. Been a regular for several years. I've tried all the sushi restaurants in the Morgan Hill and South San Jose area and Hanami is the best by far. Great prices especially for the quality of food you're getting.

My parents took me out for a special treat, and everything from atmosphere, location, service, design and style of the establishment was great. The sushi was A-mazing, best I've had without a doubt. Their desserts were tasty too, if you'd like to try; good portions.

Under staffed but good food

Friendly service. Food has always been super fresh.

Been coming here for years and bringing various of my children and grandchildren. Everyone finds something they like. They are also open till 9:30p which is a half-hour later than other restaurants except fast food. HS has a large menu and everybody develops favorite. One granddaughter is gluten-sensitive and HS even has gluten-free soy sauce for diners like her. Everything about HS we like.

LOVE this place! I don't eat fish, and there's plenty of options! My husband loves it because the variety of sushi rolls. Janet is so nice, addresses us by name, and always greets us with a smile. This is our favorite place and drive from gilroy to eat it! So worth it!

Wonderful spicy josh roll!

There wasn't anything special about the food. It was just okay. There were four of us in our party last night and we were ignored virtually the whole time despite the place not being so busy. Halfway through dinner, we ordered one more serving of California rolls and waited 20 minutes before they brought it out to us. No apology at all. Horrible service. Don't waste your time. There are other places. Plenty of other places.
